Artist Statement

This collection, “Where Land Holds Light,” is shaped by shifting light and the instability of perception. The sky often plays a central role, adding drama, distance, and movement to the landscapes. Variations in tone and texture create the illusion of detail, while at the same time softening edges and allowing reality to become more fluid.
